Our 2500-seat indoor stadium, The Provence Centre, our seven rugby and football ovals, our MCG-sized AFL oval, gymnasium, swimming pool and our many other facilities are all world-class and all on campus at Lindum.
The Provence Centre
Iona College's modern indoor stadium, the Provence Centre, boasts a seating capacity of 2,500, making it a premier venue for sports and events. With its state-of-the-art facilities and spacious design, it provides an excellent space for both athletic competitions and whole school and community gatherings.
Iona Performing Arts Complex (IPAC)
Iona Performing Arts Complex (IPAC) is a state-of-the-art 500-seat theatre designed to host a wide range of performances, from drama to music and dance. With its acoustically designed space and modern facilities, IPAC provides an ideal setting for students to showcase their talents and for the community to experience high-quality performances
Fields and Ovals

Tennis Courts
Iona College features six professional-grade tennis courts, offering students a premier facility for skill development, training, and competition. Olympic-Size Swimming Pool
Iona College was the first school to provide an Olympic-size swimming pool for its students, when the complex first opened in 1974. Today it remains a major part of College life, and is home to the community-based Iona Swim Club for boys and girls.
Cricket Nets and Ovals
Iona College’s cricket practice nets provide a dedicated space for students to develop their batting and bowling skills. The nets are equipped with synthetic turf surfaces, ensuring consistent performance and safety during practice sessions. Enclosed by sturdy netting, they allow students to focus on their techniques without interruptions. Conveniently located within the school grounds, the practice nets are used during PE lessons, co-curricular training, and team preparations. St Eugene de Mazenod Resource Centre
The St Eugene de Mazenod Resource Centre at Iona College is a vibrant hub for learning and collaboration. Offering an extensive collection of books, digital resources, and study areas, it supports students in their academic pursuits and fosters a love of reading and research.

Outdoor education
On the doorstep of Lake Weyba on the Sunshine Coast lies Glendalough – Iona’s Outdoor Education Centre in the College’s own 20-acre slice of paradise at Peregian Beach.
Purchased in 1993, Glendalough can accommodate 100 students and staff, and is used for school camps and retreats where students build their social, physical and intellectual skills, while learning about team building and interacting with others in a different environment – surrounded by natural bushland and patrolled surf beaches.
